Lashes & Mascara
Let’s talk about lashes! I get lots of people asking me about mine… step one: Rodan + Fields Lash Boost!
If your goal is to have lashes that resemble falsies, this is a must have!! Another fabulous use for Lash Boost is filling in your eyebrows. It works great and does the trick….darker, fuller looking lashes and brows in weeks. You should order some from my niece Megan Wilson here.
This first step is critical! It’ll work wonders, but you must practice patience…they do not grow overnight. After
washing your beautiful face at night and before your moisturizer, apply one coat along your upper lash line, keep your eye closed for 10 seconds and repeat on other eye. This is only necessary to do at bedtime. It is common for you to experience a little itchiness for the first couple weeks. Amazing lashes coming up!
Step two: invest in a quality eyelash curler. Here is my favorite. The vast majority of ladies will need a lash curler to create the perfect lash. Many people are scared to use them because they think it will rip their lashes out. You just need to practice, check out this video! This is my favorite eyelash curler made by Shiseido.
Now, step three: the mascara! Some of us have tried them all, and some work and others don’t. My most recent favorite is Better Than Sex by Too Faced; you can find this at Sephora or Ulta. This is a great option for volume and fullness. It does not go on clumpy and it is definitely lengthening. Something new that I have been trying is lash primer, which is applied prior to your mascara. It goes on white and helps with fullness and definition. Here is the one I am using, which is Subversion by Urban Decay.
Another mascara that I have recently fallen in love with is Perversion by Urban Decay. This stuff has great color and really defines the lashes. Now go get your lovely lashes, friends!
